At one point, this screw was probably holding something together. Now it sits, penetrating but without use.

Wooden
It's getting a little cooler out, which means that it is time to start breaking out the firewood.

Reaching
Didn't quite get the depth of focus exactly as I would have liked in this one, but I love the light and the way the flower seems to be reaching out of some dark place.

Fall Out The Window
This was the view from my apartment over the weekend. The colors change so quickly, then they're gone in a heartbeat.

Road Marker
When you are stuck in traffic, sometimes you can get a chance to take a picture of things that you normally just sail right by.

Knobs
The light bounced from the window off the guitar and onto the amplifier. It made some great orange and white banding on the faceplate, which is kind of washed out because of the depth of focus.

Fitting for the season, it's a webbed up light above a cabin entry way. Bring in the fake blood and film the creepy horror scene!

Lookout
How much more can you see if you drop in a quarter? It is a good way to change your perspective.

Under Repair
Traveled the length of the subway, and this was the photo from the other entrance. Seems like a good way to bookend the set.

Tracks
Sometimes the path is hard to find.
This appeared to be some of the only tracks still left from the old subway system in Rochester. Overgrown and unused, it is giving way to the plant life once again.

Mmm Bacon...
Even in the abandoned subway, people can't hide their love of bacon.
Light is from my led lamp rather than an on camera flash. I wanted the background to stay relatively dark (you can still see some of the railroad ties from the old subway line), and I figured that the on camera flash would put too much light into the background.
