Since I was just playing around, I took a bunch of pics with the new setup. Here is another one that came out kind of nice, even though it is lacking color.

New Camera, New Lens, Same Bad Lighting

Ah my first macro shot. Brought to you mostly by the persistence of Darrick, and followed closely by my new toy, the Canon EOS Rebel XSI with the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro Lens.

This is a quick snap of my chalk back using the on-camera flash. I'm just starting to learn about lighting, and this is my third shot with an SLR. So many fancy settings that I didn't have any control over with my P+S, I'm looking forward to playing around with all of them.
