In Flight Entertainment
This little guy always helps get me through flights. This time it was Buffalo to Chicago to Seattle to Salt Lake City. Didn't realize the flight was going to be this roundabout. The flight crew is even continuing on to Vegas.

Ending the season
This closes out the Christmas set. Much like leaving the lights on too long, this may have dragged on a bit more than I wanted.
Now on to something new!

Woman and Tree
This time my Mom is the subject. I'm pretty happy that my family are mostly good sports when it comes to me clicking away with the shutter then plastering their images on the interwebs.

Green-Eyed Monster
An extra shot today. Taken with the iPhone on the way home over the weekend. It was a little cold, and the window was still frozen on the inside even as I returned home.

Looking
My parents get to be subjects in a lot of my shots. Here is one of my Dad after Christmas dinner.

Christmas Cheer
I think this is the last pic I'll post of Christmas trees, but you never know. This glass seemed like a good way to cap off the night.

Candy Cane
Almost through the holiday backlog. Things look great when you use a beautifully decorated Christmas tree as your background. The Canon 50mm 1.8II lens definitely gives the bokeh a pentagon shape, rather than the more rounded shape I get from the 100mm, and it is pretty evident in this picture. You can compare to the 100mm here.

Cards
Still getting a feel for the 50mm lens. Here are some Christmas cards hanging around at my parents' house.

Reflected Lights
The tree was all decorated for the Christmas Eve party. The reflection of the lights from the tree added a nice touch.
